Learn the secrets of acting for the camera at our fun and dynamic full-day master class conducted by some of Australia's most experienced actors!
This session allows students to immerse themselves in a dynamic and supportive environment, where they will connect with seasoned industry professionals and learn the secrets of acting for the camera.
Our Screen Acting Workshop is the perfect school holiday activity for any budding actor!

Are you interested in acting for Film, TV and commercials?
Acting for the camera is vastly different to performing on stage, and being proficient in both stage and screen acting is vital for young actors wanting to excel in the entertainment industry.
This 6 week Short Course will give new students a strong grounding in the fundamentals of performing in front of the camera, and for those returning, build upon the skills learnt in previous short courses, because after all, practice makes perfect!
What you will learn
• Learn specific screen acting techniques, and master the difference between acting on stage versus acting on screen.

REUBEN LIVERSIDGE
Head Talent Agent
Reuben began his career with Stage School Australia as a student before moving into teaching, and has now worked for the company for over 15 years. Reuben has been instrumental in the establishment of the Talent Company of Australia as a well-respected Melbourne agency.
Reuben studied Theatre and Cinema at the Victorian College of Arts and LaTrobe University. He has appeared on both stage and screen throughout his career as a performer. As a young actor, Reuben starred in 2 seasons of the classic Australian TV series Round the Twist as well as guest roles in Blue Heelers and Driven Crazy. Reuben has also featured in several TV commercials for big brands, including Toyota, Medibank and Dare Ice Coffee. Reuben was a founding member of international theatre company, Four Larks, and has performed in several of their works over the years, including a successful tour across the U.S. in 2014. Reuben is also a freelance reviewer for theatre and film, contributing many reviews for leading industry website ArtsHub.
Reuben brings a depth of knowledge and experience to his role as Head Talent Agent. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to start out in the industry as a young performer and prides himself on guiding new talent to achieve their dreams.
